Science of Bird Banding with the Natural History Society of Maryland

Join us via Zoom for an online lecture hosted by the Natural History Society of Maryland; we will discuss some of the newer and most interesting methods of studying and tracking birds, including geolocators and microgps tags, isotopic feather analysis, color bands/flags, as well as some about how we approach ageing birds and identifying them while they are in-the-hand. We will also discuss BUrB’s ongoing bird banding projects and how to become invovled in future events with BUrB.
